What is ours

Detection is not execution.

Klines is an event-detection system for Binance, built before this research series began, out of months of minute-by-minute replay and case-by-case review of volume spikes rather than out of a paper. It detects abnormal volume and price acceleration, gathers context around each event, and tracks what follows.

Klines is semi-automatic, not fully automated: detection, tiering, and a short monitoring window run without a person watching every candle, but the decision to size into a specific trade stays a manual check on top of the automated signal. It currently runs in paper execution. Its profitability is not established: replay results are not live results, and execution validation (real fill, real slippage, real reaction time) is ongoing. It is not published in full. Research Note 06 is the direct, honest account of what it is and what remains open.
